As the 2011 winner of this esteemed award, ASTD recognizes CNY ASTD for demonstrating the best effort among medium chapters in 2010 in making a significant impact in your community. CNY ASTD successfully captured the spirit of this award by partnering with 20 organizations that led to 53 learning initiatives throughout their region during Employee Learning Week. This impressive activity drove awareness about the importance of learning and development into new areas. In addition, the proclamations from 10 county governments recognizing Employee Learning Week added another important level of awareness about the value of our profession.
