What is a
Pecha Kucha
?
Pronounced 'Pa-Check-a-Cha' , Pecha Kucha is a Japanese term for chit-chat.
The term is also
used for presentations where there are multiple speakers facilitating concise presentations within a specified amount of time. It was originally conceived as an opportunity where peers could meet, show their work, exchange ideas, and network.

What is CNY ASTD's
Pecha Kucha
?
A unique learning event
This opportunity is for CNY ASTD members to showcase a sample of their knowledge, talents and skills in a brief presentation. And, an opportunity to learn from your local peers based on topics you choose.

The event is also an Unconference
So rather than a top-down decision on who will present, speakers submit a proposal and submissions are voted on - this helps better align the presentations to the interests of our learning and performance community.
