are properly trained to effectively conduct programs.
Who should attend? This program provides a good foundation and key points
for anyone who educates an audience:
New Trainers

Presenters/Speakers
Individuals who lead or facilitate orientations, demonstrations, discussions or interactive training

conduct a thorough and effective needs assessment
understand and apply adult learning principles to design effective training
deliver engaging training using effective presentation and interaction skills
Three Session Program
Session One- Needs Assessment This session examines the theory around comprehensive Needs Assessment
and provides the skills to conduct an effective needs analysis.
Session Two - Design and Development This 'working' session examines the theory around program design while providing
the necessary templates to effectively Design and Develop any presentation,
demonstration, practice or activity. This session also includes the examination of
program Evaluation and its importance to effective training.
Session Three - Platform Skills This session allows participants to Deliver what they have designed
from previous sessions with immediate feedback.
Participants also receive a CNY ASTD Membership!
